"Riyu..." The girl whispered, staring at the ground in despair. She couldn't face him- she couldn't lift her eyes to his. She was sure the boy would be wearing an expression that would squeeze at her heart even more. She wouldn't be able to handle it.
A moment later he was there, holding her face gently as tears threatened to stream down her face. "Denka..." he said softly, apologetically- in pity.
He pitied her- she felt so ashamed, but what could she do? Her heart was breaking.
He lifted her chin, forcing her to look at him, forcing her to look into those beautiful pools of blue that gazed upon her with so much concern. A tear silently
"Beyond, I'm about to go to work~"
That voice... The voice that sent chills down my spine. The voice that made my heart skip a beat everytime I heard it. The voice that shot pain through my very core.
I smiled and opened my eyes as I rolled out of bed. She was wonderful. I was so lucky to have her.
"I'm coming," I said, walking into the hall to meet her. She smiled at me, and I swear, I thought I was about to die.
"I'll be back soon," she said. "Alright, Misa. Stay safe, okay?" She nodded, pecked me on the cheek, and left, smile still attached.
My smile disappeared once she was gone. I knew she lied. I knew she'd be out all night. I knew
